This is the story of a twenty year journey in the author's life at a time when she was confronted with escaping a turbulent marriage, a divorce against her religion, a church annulment, betrayal, lupus and friendship lost.

"Rose Petals Along the Way" is a beautiful testament to the friendship of two very different souls. While the book deals with some difficult topics, its message is ultimately positive and inspiring, and it is sure to touch the reader.

About the Author

Dorothy M. McCarthy was born and reared in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. NY. Early in her career, the author opened her own art gallery and her passion for art engulfed her for many years. Not to be outdone, her obsession with the written word grew into a collection of biblical poetry, plays, short stores, and thought fragments. She has been an art consultant and a poet/storyteller for twenty years and currently works and lives in New York City.
