About the Author

Becky Hammond, author, is an animal lover and owns four dogs. Her dogs inspired her interest in writing, which helped to launch her first children's book. She graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and received her M.S. in Early Childhood with a literacy focus from Walden University. She has taught elementary school for over twenty years and returned to school at The University of West Georgia to obtain her Library School Media Specialist certification. Family is essential to her, and she hopes to instill the importance of strong family relationships through her books.
