About the Author

Michael has a BA in Christian Education from Belhaven College, Jackson, MS, an MDiv. from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, MS, and has completed doctoral studies at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, FL. He served for 20 years as a Chaplain in the US Navy. He is a board-certified member of the Association of Professional Chaplains and ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America. Michael is also a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and has been drawing since childhood. Michael is married to the former Carol Woleben and they have two married sons, Jonathan (susannah) and Stephen (Mary).
