About the Author

Maggie and Mary Kate Murphy originally collaborated on Sara Dippity in 2012. At the time, Mary was a 5th grader at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. Mary earned her Associate Degree from Kellogg Community College in 2020 and is currently a double major in Biology and Art, specializing in Biological Illustration, at Olivet College. Maggie still works as an educator in west Michigan. She also enjoys performing Irish, Scottish, and Americana folk music, attending book clubs, and running a small farm with her husband, Chad.
