About the Author

Anna Mohanty is a poet who uses her work to blend science and art through narrative medicine. She is a Washington D.C. based trauma surgery intern who has worked on bioengineering HIV-1 drugs. Her poetry has been featured in the National High School Poetry Anthology, Words for the World published by Day Eight, and the Arlington Transit Moving Words program.
