This is a very inspirational book, I love both male and female leads, they gave the book a kind of feeling that I haven't read in a long time I don't want to give away a lot about this book but one thing I can say about it is it's worth it!

Loved the story and the characters. I was afraid the author would have the female character a damsel in distress. Instead, Abby is a survivor.

The point of the story is fine but they spend so much time talking about the sexism they never show how he overcomes it. Also, its pretty much like every romance, the instant connection is cheesy.

Loved this story and was so glad to find out that the sequel, Vanished, is already out and I don't have to wait for it! I got this book free on my nook and am really excited to buy the sequel. Don't mind spending the money when I already know it will be good. Thank you for offering the first one free! Can't get much better than that.

I love this book!!! The story is ome of saddness, love, and the will to live no matter what life through at you. Abby is my hero. She did not give up and just die. She lives, findes, hope and love. I wish this kind of thing never really happens but it does. I think any one that this has happend to should read this book and know there is love, hope and most there are good guys out there that will love them no mater what. So never give up on hope and love keep stroung. L.J.B.

Do not be fooled into thinking this is a mystery At best it is a romance and a poor one

Wish it could have been more true to life. We know there are many cases of abduction/forced prostitution, so this takes on the aspect of the English Lady on a pirarte ship....and the instant attraction...obsession of the captain of a US Navy ship is too ridiculous...lots of story and lots of room for improvement

Thought this was going to be an emotional tear jerker of a story and it was not! It was unbelievably well written and brought out all kinds of emotions! Yes, unfortunately this does happen in today's world and is very sad in many different ways, but I pray that many women are rescued! Great job done by the writer!

Don't misunderstand, I like this story. But seriously?? There would have been consequences to Eric's actions if this happened in the Real Navy. No One is allowed their spouse while on a deployment. Despite the unusual circumstances!! That JAG Comandeer could have stayed with Abby in Bahrain, on the base! But then there is the fact that Eric is the first man she saw while on conscious on the ship. Isn't there a complex out there about this? Savior Syndrome?? Or something - you know when the person saved latches on to the one that saves them... It seems a bit unhealthy for Abby to immediately fall in love with the captain of the navy ship that pulls her from the sea! And she would have had a guard posted regardless- and a female sailor/officer with it her at all times. I won't be reading the next one.

Interesting and well written but far fetched that the captain of a warship would behave in the manner the hero did

Overall a sweet story but I get so tired of the poor, pitiful, weak woman saved by the big, handsome, insensitive man-turned-to-mush by the overwhelmingly instant falling in love. I have to make a correction also: in chapter 28, the fear should hit her at Mach speed, not mock speed. Anyone with any knowledge of the military or even the history of military flight would know that.
