About the Author

Joseph Novak spent his early years in St. Louis, MO and has lived in California ever since his family’s move west in the early 50’s. His first novel “Good for Justice” was based on his childhood experiences and travels throughout the USA with his wife of 59 years. It was inspired by his love of this country’s western heritage. His newest book “Secrets of the Three Keyed Trunk” draws on his 30 years enjoying cowboy action shooting and his membership in the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS). It also reflects his joy in living where it is so easy to travel to the expanse of the Pacific Ocean, to the heights of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, or to the depths of the Mojave Desert.
