About the Author

Sophia Johnson was born in Key West, FL, and when she was six months old, her parents moved their four children to Panama. Around the time of her seventh birthday, they returned to their island paradise. If you enjoy KW now, think how it was when it wasn't packed with people and you knew everyone in town.

She's always been drawn to the ocean and loves walking on the waterline. She and her husband met in Miami, married and lived there for over 30 years.
