I can see from my vantage point outside of their home, Sitting here at my window in judgment on my throne. I observe their secret sins from behind my holy shield, Making note of their misery that I know should be healed. My Bible holds the answers to the questions they should ask, Stubbornly in ignorance they continue to bask. Evil creeps around me from all sides every day, I must tell their story so tenaciously I stay. I hold myself to the standard of a much higher plane, Above these simple sinners who wallow in their pain. The hypocrisy of the land cannot touch me here at home, For I am protected in my castle safe though all alone. I watch you carefully and I see you are headstrong, I can tell you where your missteps have taken you wrong. Tears fall from the eyes of God showing His love and might, Washing away the dust of deception from my very sight.
