About the Author

Jean-Maurice Belekwa is originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa. He earned BSBA and MBA degrees, respectively, from the University of Colrado and Regis University in Denver, Colorado He is the founding partner of a US non-profit organization with a 501 C.3 status which provides care and support to mentally disabled individuals in Denver; and to underprivileged children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa where life lessons are presented to children through fables. He has been writing and telling stories since he was young. He examined how folktales created a positive impact on children in Africa. The way fables were different encourages him and others to think out the box.
