About the Author

Louisa Harding is a leading knitwear designer with a worldwide reputation for romantic, beautifully flattering, classically-inspired designs. She is the author of several influential guides including Knitting Little Luxuries: Beautiful Accessories to Knit, Knits From an English Rose, and Modern Classics. She has worked alongside her husband, Stephen, a photographer, to create the Miss Bea series of knitting books, inspired by their children. Her work has been published in prominent knitting publications including Vogue Knitting and Interweave Knits, and some of her earliest designs appeared in Rowan Magazine No. 6. In 2005 she was very fortunate to be given the opportunity of introducing her eponymous line of yarns and pattern publications, Louisa Harding Yarns. Returning to the textile heritage of her Yorkshire home in October 2016, Louisa and her husband launched Yarntelier, a bespoke collection of Cashmere yarns and patterns. She lives in Yorkshire, England.
