Overview

This collection offers nearly an hour of original score music selected from the first three series of the Benedict Cumberbatch BBC show Sherlock. Composed by David Arnold and Michael Price, produced and arranged by Dominik Hauser, and performed by Meridian Studio Ensemble, the electro-orchestral instrumentation updates Baroque chamber music much like the show updates the legendary sleuth. Atmospheric, wordless female vocals call on a few of the tracks, such as "The East Wind" from His Last Vow, and the drum kit-fortified opening theme is included. ~ Marcy Donelson
