Show Don't Tell: A Creature Feature
College life can be challenging on even the best days. Between roommate drama, senior research, and tedious academic readings, it can become overwhelming.

But let's set aside the everyday struggles and talk about something that would make for a compelling novel: how I changed the lives of several English majors by introducing them to a creature they thought only existed in fiction.

What happens when they come face to face with this reality? If they believed their lives were tough just because of senior research, they might soon realize that not having that class is far less appealing than they imagined.

About the Author

Lisa Fedel is a human female with a BA in English. Her senior research project was on Joseph Campbell's hero journey step “Refusal of the Call” and different hero archetypes that followed that step and others that didn't. She takes pride in the decision to follow her childhood dream and actually write novels. While she finds the trend of humorous author bios amusing, coming up with one is quite taxing after writing an entire book.
In her spare time, she's often found trying out a new vegan recipe, watching cartoons, or having some sort of existential crisis.
