The Mortar King, Christian Axel, has evaded multiple assassination attempts whether by the Stasi, yard dogs, torture, or disease. Facing a deadline five months away where he will be imprisoned in the "Mortar Palace" for life, Christian seeks love. He also prepares the groundwork to protect his allies and the few true friends he has. As King, Christian Axel, has made a few people royal after the death of his Mortar Queen Heidi.
