Amanda Haley holds a B.F.A degree in painting and drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has illustrated more than forty children’s books, including Spark the Firefighter by Stephen Krensky, The All-American Jump and Jive Jig by M. P. Hueston, and Reading to Peanut by Leda Schubert. In her free time, Amanda loves to garden, collect antique toys, and watch old black-and-white movies, especially film noir. She lives in Ohio with her husband and their dog, Mayzie.
