Overview

So Many Maybes tells the story of a young writer and compulsive day dreamer named Robert Bain who travels wide-eyed and constantly astonished through a bizarre "Wonderland" occupied by oddball artists.

There is a gorgeous landscape painter who unintentionally creates a painting that gives people sexual hallucinations, a ballerina who turns every conversation into unintelligible nonsense, a shamelessly flirtatious painter who hates the attention she gets from men, a brilliant poet who enjoys punishing disloyal lovers more than composing poems, and an insane playwright who makes hallucinogenic "sweet tea" from mysterious family recipes.

It's a funny, very odd, and always entertaining adventure.

About the Author

Jerome Winslow is a novelist, independent filmmaker, and a PhD Global Ecologist. He has moved often and travelled extensively. He bases his novels on these first-hand experiences.

So Many Maybe’s is set in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the home of the University of Michigan where he went to school and made Independent films. He also worked in a bookstore just like several of the characters in the novel do.
He later moved to New York City where he attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a major in Cinema Studies, then went on to serve as a production assistant for New Line Cinema.

Recently, he has devoted himself to writing and making independent films that deal with oceanic environmental issues.
