SOCCER COACHING A DREAM COME TRUE
The story reflects the memories and enjoyment of Jimmy Stevens' fifty-two years of coaching, particularly in soccer. It is the second volume in his biography series, paired with "Ho Min Remembers, A Boy of the Forties." With some exceptions, the narrative generally follows a life's history.
The book consists of two parts, each depicting a different phase of soccer coaching. The first part details his coaching experiences, while the second part serves as a mini-soccer coaching manual that illustrates how and what he coached.
As you read, you'll see that Jimmy Stevens never viewed himself as a great coach but rather as a dedicated one who found joy in watching his players on the field. He worked to promote soccer opportunities for girls and women. Throughout his career, he won 364 games. So, while he may not have been the best, he certainly did well.
The goal was to provide a unique, first-person perspective on Jimmy Stevens' love for soccer and the joy it brought him.
