About the Author

James R. Dudley (MSW, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; PhD, Bryn Mawr College) is professor emeritus at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Department of Social Work, where he served as chair for seven years. Dudley has conducted many program and practice evaluations that have widely varied in topic, purpose, and methodology. He has published multiple articles and books on research and evaluation over the course of his career.
