Born in 1931, the author was an NDEA Fellow at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, and has remained a lifelong student of philosophy. His current publication began as a paper he was invited to present to a seminar at his undergraduate alma mater, Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa, in October, 2006. Encouraged to publish his paper by several of his fellow philosophers, the author now offers in this work a logical solution of the Problem of Universals, plus articles on some other classical philosophical problems.
