My Rating: 4.5 Favorite Quotes: Honey, if you've done half of what I've heard, you'd be dead by now... I'm just saying, if you're looking for something other than permanent, you can get off this porch right now, before I take a broom to your backside. My Peaches don't need no heartache. He really was the stuff fantasies were made of, too bad she was grounded in reality. The thing about sugar, b@, is that it was raised in a mean hard cane. And that's exactly what I'm going to use on you if you ever come near my man again. My Review: I continue to be enamored with Maggie Adams after finishing book three in her amusing and clever series that continues to garner my attention with an interesting mystery, entertaining storyline, sweet love stories, steamy sensual scenes, and endearing characters. I hope Ms. Adams extends the series by adopting even more Coalsons. She has me hooked.

Reviewed by Janelle Fila for Readers' Favorite Something's Gotta Give (Tempered Steel Book 3) by Maggie Adams is a contemporary romance that puts a Casanova with the one woman who can resist his charms. Chance Coalson has always loved women, and women have reciprocated the love. No one in Grafton can defeat his charm. Except Georgia Haines. Georgia, Grafton's only female fire fighter, is wise enough to know that Casanovas like Chance aren't the kind of lovers that stick around for the long haul. She knows she isn't the kind of woman that can tame Chance. She isn't sure that type of woman even exists. But when Chance's business catches on fire, Georgia comes to his rescue. That is her job, after all. But is the mouth to mouth that is very similar to a kiss really about just her job? Or could there be more blossoming between these two characters? I love the premise of Something's Gotta Give. Asking the question: how does someone with a bad reputation overcome that reputation and prove to a shy or more reserved person that he has changed? I also really liked that Georgia is a female firefighter. Usually in romances, readers think of hot, sexy, male firefighters, so this change is unique and refreshing. And yet the romance between the two characters is blissfully hot. Chance Coalson is a charmer, like the other Coalson men from previous stories, and this story does not disappoint in comparison.

I received a copy of 'Something's Gotta Give' in exchange for my honest review. Having finished reading 'Something's Gotta Give' today.... I was surprised at how quickly I was drawn into the lives of the Coalson brothers again, it's been a few months since I read the first 2 books of the series. Please read books 1 & 2 of the "Tempered Steel" series before picking up book 3, as they all follow one anothers timelines. I love how all the brothers are getting there own books, it's Chance's turn in 'Something's Gotta Give'. Chance is recovering well after the fire at the Coalson's Construction offices & he's decided to finally settle down, his choice is Georgia. But Georgia has to fight her past in order to accept love. Also in the background the investigation is still running, but they seem to have a bit of luck in that department. I can't wait to read what happens next in the Coalson's lives, Maggie has me HOOKED!
