About the Author

Dr. Krakow graduated magna cum laude from the U. of Maryland School of Medicine and completed residency training in internal medicine at Universityof New Mexico Hospital. He completed a mini-fellowship program in sleep medicine at Stanford U. Sleep Disorders Center. He is board certified in internal medicine (1986) and sleep medicine (1994). Currently, he is the medical director of Maimonides Sleep Arts & Sciences, Ltd, and principal investigator at the Sleep & Human Health Institute.
