Daisy Gumm Majesty never expected her spiritualist talents to land her on stage-especially not in The Mikado at her church, playing the delightfully villainous Katisha. But thanks to some well-placed arm-twisting from Pasadena's elite (and a certain persistent detective), Daisy finds herself swept up in rehearsals, costume fittings, and an overabundance of operatic drama.

With Detective Sam Rotondo juggling an investigation and trying to keep Daisy out of trouble (a truly hopeless endeavor), Daisy must untangle the mystery before opening night turns into closing night-for someone permanently.
