Dare I say, this one was better than the first. Mostly because no time was wasted explaining the bio mutations. With that major thing already understood, this book took off like Flo Jo. Adam becomes the character to loooooove. He discovers where his dark thoughts came from and actually seeks out therapy. I fell in love with Evan and Jo and their budding relationship. Basically, nearly every character in this book is lovable. I absolutely cannot wait for book 3. This is an awesome series to read

I waited patiently for this book and I was not disappointed. This installment kept me turning pages like crazy. Spoiler alert: Adam comes face to face with his twin brother and the showdown is EPIC! Background plots included Jo revealing her telepathic abilities and Carly speaking to her mother from the grave. I absolutely loved how all of the descendant's characters were more fleshed out in this book. A story like this one deserves to be made into a movie! AWESOME!! Highly recommended.
