About the Author

Allicia Washington-White is a woman of many talents; she has dubbed herself the "Jacky of all Trades!" A published author, accomplished speaker, and event planner, Allicia has a natural flair for all things creative driven. Allicia is a highly-skilled professional with a portfolio of clients who have trusted in her abilities to host engaging events, as well as ensuring they run like "well-oiled machines." Her business acumen has granted her the opportunity to work with city officials and prominent community leaders. Allicia is an honors graduate from Alverno College and Purdue University and believes in being a servant first and a leader second. Allicia is an advocate of breast and mental health, as well as equal rights for women and LGBTQ+ individuals. She is a full-time mom raising an intelligent son!
Allicia has contributed published articles to national magazines such as “Millennial Mogul” and “Black Girls Allowed.” She has distinguished herself as an engaging keynote speaker and host as she was appointed coordinator of ceremonies for the 147th Alverno College Commencement. Her most notable feature has been an interview on “Our Issues Milwaukee,” highlighting her breast cancer awareness expo. Allicia was named a 2016 Businesswoman on the Move for her community work and advocacy.
