I love this woman---her passion, courage, and listening ear. About fifty pages into The Daniel Prayer, Anne writes, “You and I will never know how to pray in such a way that Heaven is moved and our nation is changed until we start reading our Bibles.” With that, Anne takes us into His Word and explains from Scripture, personal experience, and the lives of others the whole process of preparing for, pleading for, and prevailing in prayer. Then understanding our frailty when it comes to prayer (don’t we all feel it!), Anne gives us practical help and direction for praying The Daniel Prayer. In Daniel 9:23, God told Daniel he was “highly esteemed---precious” and that is what my friend Anne is to me. And that is what we can be to God if we will but listen, obey, and pray.
