In his book Zodiac Maniac, writer Glenn Wall credits forty-seven murders, including those of the Zodiac Killer, to the violent son of a wealthy Chicago industrialist who Wall discovered while investigating the unsolved murder of former US senator Chuck Percy's daughter, Valerie, in 1966. The killer's family were neighbors of Percys and the crimes appear to have been covered up. Super Killer, the third book in a series, reveals that there were at least forty additional murders, some of which were followed by convictions of unlikely suspects. But were those men innocent, and were their convictions part of the cover-up? Cases Include Evelyn Hartley, who disappeared in LaCrosse, Wisconsin in 1953 after being violently assaulted while babysitting, and Betsy Aardsma, whose notorious murder occurred in the library at Penn State University in 1969.
