About the Author

Anatoly Legchenko graduated from the Electrotechnical Institute of Novosibirsk (NETI) as an Engineer in computer sciences and electronics. In 2001 he obtained his 'Habilitation à diriger les recherches (sciences de la terre)' (HDR) diploma in Geophysics from the University Paris XI. Currently, he is a Senior Scientist in the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (Marseille, France) attached to the L'Université Grenoble-Alpes (Grenoble, France). He has published over 100 research articles and is a published monograph author (with Wiley).
