If you like simple, easy, to make recipes for your family, look no further. This book was made for my children at a time when I don't know if tomorrow was going to come for me. It was my farewell gift to them should I not make it, so that they would always be able to make some homecooked food and think of me. Being around family and friends, sharing recipes, cooking for people have all been the passions of my life. I am sure your family will love these recipes as much as mine have.

About the Author

Hey Y'all, it's Amanda Adamson aka "Sweet Lucille". I'm so excited to share my childrens' favorite recipes with you. I'm happily married to a very picky eater, lol. My husband Matt and I have a combined family of 6 children. 3 girls and 3 boys, (ranging in age from 27 to 12) we are the Modern Day Brady Bunch with an added bonus of a 6 year old granddaughter (Karleigh), who is spoiled rotten and loves to cook with her mamaw. I have loved to cook since I was a little girl and have learned from many family members including both of my mamaws. Southern cooking, in my opinion, is the best food in the world and what better way to learn to cook is there than from southern women. Each of them taught me different ways of cooking and about learning life's big lessons. I miss them both on a daily basis and when I make certain foods, memories come rushing back to me of specific tastes. I love to teach my kids and granddaughter how to cook, because you can never be too young to start learning. I've always enjoyed simple, easy, and affordable meals. When I was a single mom, I learned very quickly how to make a dollar stretch and how to keep my kids fed and happy. Food is my love language and it's the best way to put a smile on anyone's face. A little food in the belly and a big hug and kiss on the cheek is the best love and medicine in the world. Since my mamaws (Minnie and Ernesteen) are no longer with us, when I have cooking questions or want to talk new recipes, I always go to my mom, (Sandy) bonus mom (LoRei) and my best friend Andrea who know me like no other. All 3 women are fantastic cooks and each of them do things a little differently and not to mention are all opinionated. These 3 women have taught me so much about cooking and LIFE.
