A 350 page sci-fi book and second in the trilogy - first book is free. The separate parts of the first book are engineered together by fate to meet in this book as a diabolical plan of a destructive religon fabricated by two members of different worlds for different agendas. More drama, violence, drama, background story, violence and drama in this adult sequel. Good story basically with a lot of drama, destruction, torture, and death, and a little romance.

A great sequel to the first book! The character development continued along a reasonable way. A character that I did not care I slowly began to think of him in a different light. I was super pleased with Maeve and Logan's reunion. I went ahead and bought the last book. The only reason why I am giving this 3 stars instead of 4 is because the editing didn't seem finished. I was disgruntled that I paid for this book, and the formatting and editing were not as polished as the free book I downloaded that began the series.

Been immersed and intrigued since I started the series. Strongly recommend it.

This series is one of the best i have come across in quite a while. The cast of characters is diverse and all have believable motivations. However, the best part is the plot. While i guessed a few of the plot twists, i was completely surprised by most. Thanks Erica

An epic followup that answers a lot of lingering questions from the first book. If you read "Anvil of Tears," then you will not be mistaken purchasing this book. I was kept up many a night unable to quit reading this book. However, if you haven't read the first book, go back and read it first and know you have an incredible adventure to look forward to. This is a book to be recommended to many friends who share an interest in space, culture, adventure, myths, action, and romance... pretty much everything you could ever expect to see in a book.
