Take Good Care: A Guided Journal to Explore Your Well-Being, Boundaries, and Possibilities
Taking good care of yourself is beautiful, challenging, life-changing work. It's about recognizing your own truth and advocating for the things you need—with tenderness, and with fierceness too.
This guided journal is a way to hear your own voice. Through powerful exercises on self-talk, self-awareness, body image, and future goals, you'll find tools to define boundaries, create healthy patterns, and make decisions that honor who you really are.
Make and keep promises to yourself that reflect your values with the help of thought-provoking prompts, such as:
• What's something you feel ready to ask for more of in the near future?
• What are some authentic parts of yourself that you tend to "turn off" or "shut down"?
• What are some self-boundaries you'd like to implement, or boundaries you'd like to stick to more predictably?

About the Author

M.H. Clark is a poet and writer who has received multiple awards, including the Washington State Book Award and two Moonbeam Children's Book Awards. She has traveled the world and lived in many wonderful places—but she believes she belongs most of all in a little house with a large library, someplace where the forest meets the sea.

Jessica Phoenix was born in Massachusetts to creative parents who didn't bat an eye when she decided to attend art school. After earning her BFA in illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, she moved to Seattle to illustrate and design products for Compendium. There she's grown her love of color, hand lettering, and pattern design. She enjoys painting flowers, mixing cocktails, and hanging out with her silly husband and two cats.
