Overall I'd say this is a series to indulge in. It won't take long to get through them, but they're entertaining, hot, and intriguing. I would definitely look for more of the author's stories. My Review for book 1: 4 stars, I liked this story. This is a short, sweet interlude. It's an instant attraction story, so you don't get a lot of buildup. John and Elizabeth see each other at a board meeting and are instantly attracted to each other. A brief, searing kiss has them planning a date that escalates quickly. The sex is hot. I didn't care for the repetitive nature of the wording. A little variation in some of the words used would have been a little less distracting. But the story was still hot and will get your engine running. I purchased the book from a publisher during a sale after having my eye on it for a while and was not disappointed. I think Instant Attraction stories are fun to read, and will be reading the rest in the series. I also love that the covers seem to represent the characters in the story. It really adds to the visuals. My review for book 2: My review: 4 stars: This was another sexy little tale from the Taking Advantage series. Greg meets Tessa when her car breaks down in the parking lot and he gets to rescue her by driving her to her yoga studio and having her car repaired. They share a searing kiss, plan to have a date the following night, and the passion explodes off the pages. I liked this story a little bit more than the first book. We seem to get a little more connection to the characters in the story. They have a little more backstory than the other characters. It was also nice to get a little mention of the previous couple and see that they are working on their happy-ever-after. The story will effectively get you ready for some fun bedroom time. My review for book 3: 4 stars. This book took was an kind of interesting twist to the series. It was less instant attraction and more "I'm going to proposition you with the intention of just one night and we accidentally fall in love." Mark is mentioned in the other books as a bit of a player, so I was almost predispositioned not to like him as much. He had to grow on me. It was kind of the same with Suzie. In book 1, she was infatuated with John. In book 2, it was mentioned that she threw her attentions at both Greg and Mark, just flirting with anyone who would look at her. But the story unfolded a little more intriguing. Also, we get to see what happened to the other two couples, so that alone made it worth reading to get a glimpse at their happily ever afters a few months down the road.
