The book, Tangled Fantasies by Jane Monk is the perfect drawing or doodling book for those who love to zentangle! My mom got me into this type of doodling and I knew from the books cover that this would be a great book to use for practice and enjoyment! The fantasy type creatures and plants inside are so gorgeous. Each example and steps so you can follow along and create them on the paper in front of your or whatever you want to doodle on too! I always thought of this type of doodling as a perfect way to create your own personal card for someone or a way to decorate a gift. So with the creative ideas inside this book, I'm getting so many more ideas and learning to create unique and interesting doodles that all together create a large image. It's not your normal drawing, but something more interesting. I feel it takes your favorite item, like drawing the unicorn and adding some more design on the unicorn. Even, think about drawing that person and adding hair, which you then can take the hair and make it look like snakes as one example inside the book, decorating it in all different patterns. This is just a great way to be creative and think outside the box of normal or traditional drawing. So inside this book, you'll learn how to color, which is something most books don't always help you with. It lets you know how to shade, darker to lighter as there is examples of each and the many different colors to use. You'll also learn how to do some doodles from a step by step way with visual examples. It's an excellent book, I love the creative doodles inside and fantasy tangles are so much fun!
