About the Author

Hans Fleurimont was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1985 where he grew up with an appreciation for the visual arts. He first discovered his talent when he started drawing comic book heroes in middle school and from there he couldn't stop. He loved to draw and sketch whatever his eye could see. He also had a talent for using computer softwares. On November 10, 2004 at the age of 18, Hans joined the United States Army where he served for 3 years and 10 months. His MOS was 13F/ Fire Support Specialist (Forward Observer) and was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington. He did 1 tour in Iraq, which lasted for 18 months.

After Hans left the service in September 2008 he had aspirations of starting his own business. In 2010 he enrolled in College at The Art Institute of New York City where he studied Graphic Design as a major. He received his Associates Degree in the summer of 2012.

Hans’ professional experience in the creative field extends to over 8 years. He has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator and project manager on over 200 design projects. Some of the business/organizations he has worked with in the past include Pentagram Design Inc., Oltis Software LLC, Zulily Inc., University of Washington Tacoma, Creative Circle and Pacific Lutheran University. Hans also took some business classes associated with Tacoma Spaceworks and In 2016 Hans worked in Logistics as an Operation Supervisor for Progistics Distribution. Through that experience he became a vital member of the team.

Hans is not only a Graphic Artist, but also a husband, a father, a mentor, an entrepreneur and a kung fu practitioner. He founded The Galerie Media Inc. in 2020 and is currently the President/CEO.
