Tarot Cards: Meditation and Music
Bruno Battisti D'Amario, famous as both a performer and guitar teacher at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, sets out to express in this study the symbolic value of the Tarot, expressed by the figures of the 22 Major Arcana. The author has produced special compositions to reproduce the subtle connections between the various figures and one of this connection is certainly the music. Watching the cards, listening to the guitar and to the indistinct sounds of the tape magnetic can lead to a constructive moment of meditation.

For Bruno Battisti D'Amario all creative activity (including that of an interpretative nature) is tied to a magic way of looking at life: an interest in the esoteric is fundamental and music serves as a vehicle which allows these inner messages to be seen as the construction of inner temples to virtue.
