About the Author

Kyra is 8 years old and lives in sunny Texas with her amazing Mom and Dad - they're Indian, and she's their only little princess. She's a single child who loves it as she gets all the attention (Surprises and Celebrations!).

Kyra is a total bookworm and is always open to reading interesting character stories. She's also a baking super star and has been interested in making her own sandwiches, trail mix, and other recipes from several kid-friendly cookbooks since she was young.

But it's not just baking and books!

Kyra has a huge heart. She loves planning mom and dad's birthdays, Mother's Day, and so on. She loves playing and spending time with her mom and dad. Family time means playing with her cousins. She also loves play dates with her friends and is always up for a game of tag, hopscotch, or anything that involves running around.
