About the Author

Chong Han, PhD, is a John Wu & Jane Sun Endowed Associate Professor and the Director of the Tetahertz Wireless Communication Laboratory, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He serves as Vice Chair of IEEE ComSoc RCC Special Interest Group on Tetrahertz communications, and has published widely on the subject.

Josep Miquel Jornet, PhD, is a Professor in Electrical and Computer Enginering, the Director of the Ultrabroadband Nanonetworking Laboratory, and the Associate Director of the Institute for The Wireless Internet of Things at Northeastern University, USA. He is a pioneering researcher in the field of terahertz communications.

Vitaly Petrov, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He has previously served as a Principal Research Scientist at Northeastern University, USA and a Senior Standardization Specialist with Nokia Bell Labs, and has researched extensively Terahertz band communications for 6G and beyond.

Ian F. Akyildiz, PhD, is the Ken Byers Chair Professor Emeritus and a former Chair of the Telecommunications Group at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and has received numerous awards and fellowships for his research into a range of telecommunications technologies.
