Overview

About the Author

The author spent his informative years watching monster movies on the big screen; "The Blob", "The Spider", "Them", "The Monster That Challenged The World", some of the scariest movies ever made, at least to an impressionable kid back in the 50's and 60's.

As an adult, the author lived and worked internationally and now lives and writes in Bangkok, Thailand with time off to sail his 36 foot sailboat. The author has written three novels, his first, "Terror Beneath The Bayou", followed by "Lost Between Lines" and "Saving Moses". He is currently working on his fourth novel, "Lady Alone".

A fun romp with a good story line. The characters were likeable and reacted to their problems in reasonable ways. The critters were truly creepy and did a great job of making kibble soup. One star off for a much lower body count than was possible with so many creatures. And the missed opportunity for a shower scene where the victim goes down the drain.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tale. It romps right along in a quick yet relaxed and not rushed pace. Once started, it's very difficult to put down. For the most part, the characters are all small-town folks encompassing good and bad traits trust together with a few scientists trying to determine what is causing animals and humans to gruesomely perish. It contains enough scientific jargon (i.e., discourse) to keep it real without condescension. If you enjoy icky bug stories, you'll love this one.
