Overview

From New York Times bestselling author Bobbi Smith comes the spellbinding story of a half-white Comanche warrior whose quest for vengeance becomes the ultimate lesson in desire...

He Claimed Her Body.  .  .

Though an Easterner born and bred, Trista Sinclair fell in love with the rugged Texas terrain the moment she arrived to join her fiancé. But the warnings she has heard around the ranch come to life when she is captured by a blue-eyed Comanche warrior...a man whose sensual touch is far more dangerous than his brute strength.

But Wanted Her Heart And Soul.  .  .

Lance Barrett has never been tempted to take a captive until he sees a beautiful woman with hair like spun gold taming a magnificent stallion. Trista is his half brother's fiancée, and the perfect means of revenge against the white father who rejected him. Yet what Lance wants most is the one thing Trista swears never to give—her willing surrender. Torn between the life each has known and a desire neither can resist, only together can they claim a love as vast and wild as the West itself...

I love this Author! She is brilliant! This is my second book by her and I wasn't to sure about this half breed stuff, at first. The half breed subject does not bother me at all after this one. Yeah Lance is a bit brutal but he is using her to get back at his father who deserted him when he was younger after his mother's death. If I was in Trista's shoes I wouldn't put up a fight either against a beautiful blue eyed commanche warrior. It doesn't matter if she put up a fight anyways Lance would just go and find her because she is his by commanche law. I like how they tied in this capturing the golden stallion and golden haired beauty it gave it a nice touch. Especially when Trista tamed the wild stallion first. Once again she has a great plot and seriously hot love scenes.

In all the plot to the story is really good. I wasn't impressed with the heroin much because she was just to easily overpowered and the hero was a bit over the top mean at times, but with all the different struggles through out the story I found that it all ties together nicely in the end. Definately worth the read.

She hated him. She hated him. She hated him. She admits she melts in his embrace then cruelly aattacks him with her words. Is trista a whore or what. Not like this author' usual herione or hero for that matter, but i luked the hero better than the herione. She was disgusting. Love Ms. Smith 's stories except foe this one.

Shes in love with her fiance, then 2 days later shes letting her captor take hrr virginity. What the heck? U cant fall out of love then back in si fast! The hrroine Yrista is pathetic, lets him take full advantage of her thr few days theyre together! Then shed be all torn up about him having sex with her after! Not to mention Lance is unlikeable, is a bit of a man whore, and treats Trista like dung the whole time. Please, for youre sake, keep looking! Do not buy! I would not recommend anything by this author, i would go to Cassie Edwards then see where that takes you. All in all, this was probably the worst attempt at a Native American romamce I have ever read. 2 stars for effort, lol.
