About the Author

Dr. Mani is a physician scientist with a strong background and training in internal medicine, a research fellowship in cardiology, a doctorate in biomedical informatics, and an extensive research track record and experience teaching medical and graduate students.

Dr. Weitkamp is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and research scientist at Vanderbilt University, specializing in pediatric infectious diseases and neonatal-perinatal medicine. Dr Weitkamp has conducted a large number of clinical and translational research studies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), including industry, foundation, and NIH-supported trials.
