About the Author

As a little girl, I was always intrigued with making my own way, making a name for myself, and working hard to build something with longevity that I could call my own. In January 2020 I found exactly what that would be! I currently have a Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing and a Masters in Professional Counseling. I pursued a career in Higher Education for a short period of time, but I found that it wasn't as fulfilling as I would have hoped. That fire and desire to be my own boss and build my own table with several seats for people of color, especially black women, continued to burn.

I was initially introduced to juicing by Tabitha Brown while she began her "2020 Reset" with juice cleansing for 10 days and eating clean raw foods the following 10 days. I lost over 12 lbs in 10 days from the cleanse and I have been hooked ever since. Not only did I lose weight, but I felt fantastic with energy through the roof. My mental, physical, and emotional state changed for the better overall. To date, I have lost over 50 lbs from juicing, increased my natural energy, built a strong immune system, and my digestive system has never been better with the rest I have allowed it to enjoy!

I did a trial run on my products in the Summer of 2020 with close friends and family. I developed a variety of recipes for cold pressed juices, teas, and lemonades. I only anticipated selling about 50 juices just to get feedback on the products, but I sold over 300 juices, teas, and lemonades! I exceeded my own expectations, got great feedback, made a profit, and began becoming a student to juicing. I have followed and learned from juice influencers such as "JK Juices" and "StartAJuiceBar.com" launched by Andrew McFarlane. I developed my business plan in a course at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA titled "Developing a Small Business".  Welcome to my journey!
