But there is another objection which I have met with, and which deserves to be more particularly considered. It is this, That the making such a representation as I have done, of the state of the Pagan world, may possibly be turn ed to the disadvantage of natural religion itself, and may tend to the weakening those principles which lie at the foung dation of all religion and morality.
