About the Author

Award-Winning Author Andrea E. Robertson earned a First Place Purple Dragonfly Book Award for her first book - The Adventures of Abigail Rosebud and a Frog Named Stink! She has a dear appreciation for nature and a sincere love of animals! For as long as she can remember, she has loved writing and telling stories. As a teenager, Andrea took photographs and wrote stories for her high school newspaper. Those stories eventually earned her a spot in the International Journalist Honor Society - Quill & Scroll. Andrea moved on to her college radio station as a DJ and the local ABC TV affiliate as an editor. In 1992, she graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and later began work as a children's promotion producer for the Family Channel in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Stay in school, and your dreams can come true, too! She is currently writing more Adventures of Abigail Rosebud books for you to enjoy.

Trevor Lucas is an accomplished, award-winning artist. He has illustrated multiple books using his artistic skills to uplift and spread positive messages throughout his work. Trevor is not only a visual artist, but he also calls himself a visual activist. He is well known for his contributions to the community and his former regional television show known as The VAdio Show. There is where he furthered his mission of educating, uplifting, and motivating others through film, as he continues to do so through his artwork today.

Fun Fact: Trevor is a colorblind artist who still manages to bring colorful life to images, as seen throughout this book. This is proof of his belief that his talent is God-given, and he feels it's only right to give back his best of that gift in return.
