About the Author

Born and raised in rural Wisconsin, I escaped the frozen landscape to sunny California in 2008. After settling in the Coachella Valley, I began to focus on my artwork. I found that my character art had a life of its own, making the transition from artist to author natural. As a new author, I use this impish otter to convey a message to children that we all make mistakes and to embrace their sense of adventure.
