About the Author

Cassandra Shenning was born and raised in the culturally rich city of Tampa, Florida. She is the second oldest of eight children; the unique experience she had as an older sister led her to work in the childcare industry where she ultimately found her inspiration to write a children's book based on a special childhood memory. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2010 and resides there still. Cassandra hopes to write another book to add to this series in the future.
