About the Author

Evie Able is the author of the BLF series and winner of the Kroger Award for Excellence in Creative Writing. Able focuses on interweaving paranormal elements into multicultural children's stories, creating unique worlds which re-conceptualize how we learn to be good people.

Nick Askew is an artist and illustrator living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland. He graduated with a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Northumbria University in 2010 and since then has worked on many different projects ranging from painting an enormous mural of Edinburgh's old town, to illustrating poetry anthologies, to designing a guide book for Alnwick Castle (otherwise known as Hogwarts).
