The Baseball Kid is based on the real-life story of the dream to become a professional baseball player. The author takes the reader with him on the journey from T-ball all the way to a professional baseball tryout camp.

The reader learns that life is a journey that doesn't always take the turns that you would like to see but there are still lessons to be learned from every experience. Just like in the game of life the reader learns that victory isn't always found on the scoreboard and that handling defeat can often be more important than how you handle victory.

Each chapter includes a quote from a famous baseball personality as well as thoughtful lifelong advice from the Baseball Kid. This story is suitable for readers of all ages.
