Overall this was a pretty good series. I liked the characters. My biggest issue with this series was the conflict of her not being able to get past the fact that he was a billionaire. I mean, really? When I am struggling, and my 3 children are dreaming of one day having our own house, and their own beds, due to the fact that we lost everything to an accident and medical bills, it is quite sickening to read of a character tormented over her fiance having money. Yes, I know her parents were wealthy, etc., etc., but still wah, wah- to have such problems. For her to end the relationship because of it? It just came off as quite stupid, really.

Margie and Evan learn to grow and trust each other. They still had their ups and downs but love conquers in the end. Well written with the emotions of the characters coming out as you read is a plus. Only draw back was having to purchase 4 books to get the whole story. joy943

This is part 4 of the 4 part series. These books should not be read as standalone books. After Margie rejects Evans proposal, Evan throws himself into his business and begins to work night and day on new projects. Evan really does not want to have to deal with the business aspects of his company. Evan decides that he is going to give a huge chunk of money away. He decides that inventing needs to have someone who can support and finance small inventions. Evan becomes a philanthropic billionaire in Dare Valley. Margie is focused on her bakery and has perfected her croissant, and french bread making, easily selling out of the bread on a daily basis. Once Evan and Margie see each other, they know their hearts need to be together. An amazing finish to a wonderful series. Margie has returned to Dare Valley to finish the pursuit of her dream…opening her own bakery. However, her time spent with the one that she met when she began this journey haunt her dreams. Evan Micheals is determined to not just be a part of Margie’s past. He is determined to make himself a philanthropic millionaire in hopes that his Venus Pocket will be a part of his future too. I encourage you to read the last installment in the series to find out what is the final result of Evan Micheals’ biggest gamble. A fantastic finale to this mini series. Once again, Ava Miles brings us the magic she has brought us in the earlier volumes. From Dare Valley to Paris and now back to Dare Valley, the story of Evan and Margie continues. After wallowing in pity and burying himself in work after Margie rejects his proposal, Evan is now back at Dare Valley. I love this new Evan. His actions to show Margie that he could be happy with him even though he is a billionaire were so much more of a courtship than the actions he used to woo Margie in Paris. Evan's best friend Chase appears more in this volume and I really enjoyed his character. Hope that he will get his HEA too. Was really sad to come to the end of this mini-series. This is a series that you definitely do not want to miss. But do remember to start from the first story as it will be much more meaningful. ** I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. This is the fourth and final part of this four part series. Evan is putting forth a plan win back Margie because his life in not complete without her. He has a lot of work cut out for him, but his determination will help him win this battle. The big question is Margie ready to accept the billionaire side of Evan? This was beautiful way to close this series on. I loved Evan's geeky romantic nature. The whole journey of these for parts shows Evan and Margie growing and finding their true selves. I shed a few tears in this one because it's so touching at the end for these two characters.

This is the fourth book in the Paris mini-series. This is a great little mini-series taking place between Dare Valley and Paris. I loved this book just like I have loved the other 3 in the series. To recap, Evan a self-made billionaire inventor, Evan Michaels, loses a bet in a poker game and has to live like a normal person for a month in small town Dare Valley and be celibate for that time. He rents a room in Margie Lancaster’s house. They immediately start to like each other but can’t be together as Evan has a celibacy pact. Margie has her new bakery about to open making amazing cinnamon rolls. Margie is going to Paris for 10 weeks to be an apprentice Andre a baker in a wonderful bakery in Paris. In Paris, Evan and Margie spend all their free time together enjoying each other and Paris. Evan is still keeping his secret of being a Billionaire, and Margie has explained why she doesn’t like rich people and her background leaving all the wealth behind. After Evan’s background of being a Billionaire is finally revealed and it is a big deal but they are working through it, and Evan is courting Margie and showing her what he loves in Paris. On their last night together Evan proposes to Margie and it does not end well. Evan walks off and they don’t talk before Margie leaves Paris to head back to Dare Valley and open her Bakery. In The Billionaires Return we learn how hard Margie leaving hits Evan and how hurt and disappointed he is. He is lost and a mess to say the least. He still loves her and she him but his past and ways he acts like a billionaire was an issue, as well as they live in 2 different places and have different lives. After Evans best friend. Chase, talks him into snapping out of it and going to Dare Valley to see Margie we learn how Evan wants to change his life, for him and Margie. Evan deciding to go to Dare Valley and use that as a change for his future with his inventions and company as well as trying to see if Margie and him can work. They still love each other and it is evident throughout their story. Can Margie put the past behind her even as it keeps rearing its ugly head, and can Evan tone down the billionaire lifestyle and show he is still the geeky guy she loves without a ton of the splashy bling in her face? This is an amazing book and series I would recommend it to anyone. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own." Will they or won't they? The path of true love has never been straight, but this conclusion of the four part story detailing the travails of Evan and Margie is a must read. A delightful look at Paris, bread making, and life in a small town versus the lifestyle of a billionaire, this series has it all. I was on tenterhooks waiting to see if our heroine could overcome her background and find a compromise with Evan.

The final book in this series was just as I imagined it would be. It took Chase to snap Evan out of his depression and after he did he headed to Dare Valley with excellent plans. It took him a few tries but Margie caved in and started seeing him again. They had some bumpy roads but they finally made it. This was a wonderful book. It made me laugh and cry through it all. Thanks Ava for a wonderful series. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.

The Billionaire's Return, book four of Ava's Billionaire mini-series is another great piece. It was a fantastic and romantic journey. Ava Miles gets all her readers completely involved in the story. I'm sure we will read about Margie and Evan and their happy life together on future books. I love how Ava continues creating the stories with characters we have seen on prior books for whom we have learned to love. Margie Lancaster has returned to Dare Valley after turning Evan Michael’s marriage proposal. She returns heart broken because she refused him and she knew he was feeling the same. Margie thought of her past life as a young girl with very wealthy parents was going to come back to hunt her. She could not see her life now mixed with Evan’s billions. She would be happy with Evan Murray, the inventor geek. She now had a new business to run, her bakery Hot Cross Bun. Evan Michael is dying inside after Margie refused to marry him. He has consumed himself on working on his new invention. He is devastated. Chase , Evan’s CFO and best friend, received a call from Margie asking him how Evan was since he would not answer her calls, texts, or letters. Chase sees Margie's love and he creates a plan and pushed Evan out of his lab. He led Evan to decide to endow a college with a laboratory for inventors, a place where young people could work on their inventions, and get help getting a patent on them. Evan decided the college he would endow was in Dare Valley so he can be near his beloved Margie. Would Margie accept him and his wealth? The Billionaire’s Return is the fourth and final book in the Dare Valley Meets Paris mini-series. I’m not normally one to pick up a mini-series, but this one will not disappoint in any way. Ava Miles is an excellent writer that can definitely weave a tale that will engross you. This is Margie and Evan’s story and it’s a must read. (I do suggest reading the books in order) Pick this series up for a “taste” of Paris and Dare Valley! I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. The Billionaire’s Return is book four in the novella series Dare Valley Meets Paris by Ava Miles. This book was generously provided to me by the author for an honest review. Margie has gone home to Dare Valley and has opened her bakery. Things are going very well, better than she could have imagined. But the success is bitter sweet. Her heart is broken from the way things ended with Evan. Evan Michaels is a broken man. Margie is gone. So he throws himself into his work, his latest invention. He has finally had a break through and is very close to finding the needed answers. With a little tough love from his best friend, Chase, Evan is forced to deal with his broken heart and decides to go back to Dare Valley. He has some new and wonderful ideas of how he can help other inventors like himself. And he needs to see Margie to see if there is any way possible for them to work things out. The Evan that goes back to Dare Valley is sort of a new and improved version. He has found a new found self-confidence and purpose. Margie is still dealing with doubt, though, from the memories of her own past. And, just when she thinks she has overcome them, a harsh reminder is again thrown right in to her path. This is the final book of Evan and Margie’s story as their romance went from Dare Valley to Paris and back to Dare Valley again. Both Evan and Margie are forced to face their own demons before they are able to come together as a couple. I loved Evan’s best friend, Chase in these books and hope we get to see more of him in the future. I think there is a definite story there. He has been Evan’s rock for so long. I would love for him to get a HEA. Maybe there could be a future for him in Dare Valley as well? Only Ava Miles knows the answer to this question.

In the 4th and final episode of Evan and Margie's love story, Ava Miles delivers an end that you don't want to put down. Evan and Margie have been miserable since their split in Paris. Evan has closed himself into his lab, working day and night, only to rest on the mattress that he's thrown on the floor. Margie is not quite enjoying the full success of the opening of her bakery since she's unable to think of anything other than Evan. It takes a little push from Evan's friend Chase to get the thought process going for a way to win back the only woman he loves. After returning to Dare Valley, Evan pays Margie a visit and explaining his plan to help future inventors at the University. The heat between the two is instantaneous. Over the next several weeks they rekindle the flame that never should have been put out in France. The end of this love story is emotional and doesn't let you down when it comes to a happily ever after!! I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. A fantastic finale to the series! Brokenhearted after Margie Lancaster turned down his proposal, Evan Michaels decides to go to Dare Valley to prove to her that he is not cut from the same cloth as her parents. He endows a lab to the local university and tries to prove to her that he means to stay there, inventing and being with her. With her own heart broken by turning down Evan’s proposal, Margie had returned to Dare Valley to open her new bakery. When Evan arrives and tells her he wants to be there, with her, she wants to believe him but has a hard time looking past his money and his Paris life. While Margie’s reluctance to believe they can have a future together can be frustrating at times, to where you just want to shake some sense into her, it is very understandable that she was deeply scarred by her parents and has a hard time going back into that world. The result is a wonderful ending to this terrific mini-series! Please note: I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Evan knew that he had messed up big time when we had ran away from Margie the night she had said no to his proposal, but he was heartbroken and trying to understand why she would say no if she loved him. He had thought that her staying with him and allowing him to court her that their differences no longer mattered. He couldn't have been more wrong. Going back to Dare Valley, the place that they met made sense to Evan and he hoped that Margie would see that their differences had more to do with her overcoming her tragic past than it did with them. He hoped that she would see that he was willing to do anything that it took to make it work between them. Even relocating. Margie was heart broken, but keeping herself busy with her bakery helped fill up the time so that she didn't dwell on what and where Evan was. Making this move to Dare Valley made Evan find himself and what made him tick and he couldn't be any happier than he was with that understanding, but his love for Margie was just as important and he hoped that she could see how much he loved her and wanted things to work. I really enjoyed this four part story and of course look forward to reading more about the people who live in Dare Valley. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

God bless Chase! When Evan has sunken into despair and retreated to his lab, Chase appears to set him back on course. Evan returns to Dare Valley as mentor and philanthropist. Margie is still not sure how involved she will allow herself to be with him. When she finally agrees to be publicly linked with Evan, the unthinkable happens: her parents show up to assume their place in her life and dominate and profit from her relationship. Kudos to Evan for the way he handled the situation. There were times I wanted to shake Margie for being so terrified of fame and fortune that she was afraid to open herself to a true loving relationship. Happily, Evan's persistence won the day. I can't wait to get glimpses of their future life in other Dare Valley books. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own." This is the final book in the mini series and Margie and Evan have had their ups and downs its now up to Evan to prove that to Margie that his money is not the most important thing in the world, and he returns to Dare Valley to win her back. Margie has finally got her bakery up and running and is trying to get over Evan but her heart is still his. Absolutely loved this mini series to nice to only have to wait 1 week between each book being released.

In the conclusion to Margie and Evan's story, we return to Dare Valley. I loved this series so much and this final installment was everything and more that it should be. The pure heartache and anguish they endure along their way back to each other was so real.  Devastated by her ending in Paris with Evan, Margie throws herself into her work. Not ever expecting to see Evan, she has reconciled to a life alone without her love. Evan has also thrown himself into his work. Not leaving his lab to even shave. What's the point if he can't have his heart with him. But Chase makes him see they may have a chance and he is willing to do anything to see if they can be together. When Evan shows up in Dare Valley for his new endeavor, Margie is stunned. And his relentless wooing wears her down. When her past is thrown in her face it brings back all the bad from her past and she once again pushes Evan away. Can these two ever overcome everything and be together?

Margie returns to Dare Valley broken-hearted. Evan is totally broken in Paris. Margie turned down his proposal. She still has nightmares about living with her parents who were wealthy, and she always saw them as leeches. She just cannot overcome her fears of what Evan's billions will do to their relationship. Evan decides to give his money away because at heart he is really a geeky inventor and does not enjoy the billionaire lifestyle while enjoying some of the perks his money provides. He returns to Dare Valley to win Margie back. He also has an idea of something to help the University in Dare Valley that will change many lives. As you read this miniseries, you can see both Margie and Evan becoming comfortable being who they are. It is a bumpy journey for both of them. Eventually, love overcomes all their obstacles. I really enjoy Ava Miles ability to create characters that you cheer for and care about and agonize with. She is able to paint a picture with words to bring Dare Valley and Paris along with her characters to life as you read! These books will have you laughing, crying, yelling at Margie and Evan but most of all you are rooting for them!

Evan decides he has to try one more time with Margie. Everything seems to be going well until Margie's parents interfere. He thought she was coming to terms with his wealth and then their relationship is set back by her parents. Are they going to be able to come together after all they have been through?
