Teenage life hasn't been easy for Irwin since he became invisible. Sure it has its good moments; like when he avoids the mystery meal of utter stomach misery that lurks in the school cafeteria to spend time by his favorite tree...until someone took his secret spot. This not-so-scary goth girl Maureen, who can actually see him. She even spoke to him. So maybe it wasn't all that nice, but still. He's discovered a blur like himself and life just hit a bump that has him and his heart flying high. She seems uninterested on the outside, but if he can just get past her spiked goggles and weapons-grade hair, there may be a chance.

Meanwhile, something weird is going on. Last week someone pranked old Mr. Lafitte by mounting a skunk's stinky end to his screen door. He was sprayed straight in the face, blinding him long enough for someone to slip in and rob him. The appearance of the Swamp Ninja coincides with a string of similar crimes and Maureen is dead-set on capturing her to prove she's the culprit. Even if it means venturing into the swamp where the clues are leading. First they must find Gary the Ghost, another blur who knows the marsh and is a master of camouflage.

Together this trio forms The Blur Society to investigate the pranks and thefts with odd repayments that follow using their abilities to infiltrate undetected. Mysteries are everywhere and the adventures of The Blur Society have just begun.

About the Author

As a kid, Trick Wayne would create comic strips and hand duplicate them to give out to classmates. This love for writing and art has grown his entire life as he has been a drummer for a touring rock band, a screenwriter and an early pioneer in the 3D computer animation in-dustry where he is currently one of the most experienced in the world.

Mr. Wayne's screenwriting has garnered the attention of a major motion picture studio, won film festivals, and been named best kids show. This led him to start writing his first novel, the very one you are holding. Writing this first book in The Blur Society series was a wonderful ex-perience for him and with success, many more adven-tures will follow.

After living all over the United States throughout his younger life, he now resides in Houston, Texas with his wife, three children, and various animals.
