About the Author

My love of photography and writing started when I was a child. I began writing poetry in high school, winning a state poetry contest in my senior year. My passion for both the art of photography and writing quickly grew after my children were born. I wanted to catch their every emotion and facial expression. Time spent at our family cabin opened my vision to what was around me, challenging me to capture it from unique angles. At age 25, I entered a new life arena as I struggled with debilitating health issues while at the same time finding out what true love really was. All of my life events have molded me and have been instrumental in my unique expressions through photography and writing. I embrace that my photography, art, and writing are not limited to just pictures, or writings on paper. I goal is to capture images, moments, and emotions so they can be treasured for a lifetime. But most of all, my faith comes before anything. I am so thankful for the artistic gifts and writing abilities which God has given to me and through these gifts my desire is to bring glory to Him.
