The Child of Chaos
❖ Readers' Favorite Gold Medalist
❖ American Fiction Award Winner
❖ IAN Book of the Year Winner

Nothing can stop the gods of Order... except a roll of the dice.

The Longing gnaws at young Galen, an irresistible force dragging him toward an ancient vault where Chaos slumbers. He doesn't crave power, just an escape from Order's suffocating grip and the twisted nightmares that haunt his sleep. But visions flicker in his mind, painting a world devoured by the very chaos he's compelled to unleash.

He's not alone in this desperate pilgrimage. Another soul thrums with the same Longing, fueled by ambition and vengeance. The race to the vault is a collision course, a clash of desperation and darkness.

Now, Galen stands at the precipice: trust his wild imagination, a double-edged sword that's always landed him in trouble, or unleash the torrent that threatens to drown the world... unless, somehow, he can bend the very fabric of chance with a throw of his ancient, wood-carved dice.

In a high-stakes game of dice, dreams, and destiny, ignite your rebellion with the Child of Chaos, an epic YA fantasy where the magic of Shadow and Bone meets the cunning challenges of Mistborn. Click "Buy Now" and roll the dice on your own adventure.

About the Author

Glen Dahlgren is the award-winning author of the acclaimed book series, the Chronicles of Chaos, which fantasy legend Piers Anthony called "what fantasy fiction should be".

He is a two-time winner of the Readers' Favorite Gold Medal for YA Epic Fantasy for both his debut novel, the Child of Chaos, and the prequel, the Game of War; the latter also won the Dante Rosetti Award for YA Fantasy.

Glen has also written, designed, directed, and produced critically-acclaimed, narrative-driven computer games for the last three decades. What's more, he had the honor of creating original fantasy and science-fiction storylines that took established, world-class literary properties into interactive experiences. He collaborated with celebrated authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (The Death Gate Cycle), Robert Jordan (The Wheel of Time - now a TV series from Amazon), Frederik Pohl (Heechee saga), Terry Brooks (Shannara), and Piers Anthony (Xanth) to bring their creations to the small screens. In addition, he crafted licensor-approved fiction for the Star Trek franchise as well as Stan Sakai's epic graphic novel series, Usagi Yojimbo.
